With decades of experience in the trucking industry, Gilberto Franco witnessed firsthand the ability of a trade to change people's lives, So, in 2002, he founded Harbor Trucking School in Carson, California, with the aim of giving others an opportunity and teaching them what he had learned.
For Gilbert, there was more than just getting people licensed, It was mentorship, confidence, and community. Over 20 years later, Harbor Trucking School still operates with the same core principles that began everything hard work, personal commitment, and nurturing every student's growth.
Upon Gilberto's retirement, Luis, his son proudly took over as General Manager and Lead Instructor in 2018. He continues to uphold his fathers legacy and has made a personal approach for each student a priority.
